GRITSπ€π½π€π½, top 3 in dfw. Lamb chops great. Drinks great. Everyone's food came out timely and hot and good! Our server Tai was sweet , quick and friendly.
Will definitely go bk for brunch again.
Would be 5 stars but the hostess needs some more training and customer service and it was a little chaotic the 1st 15min there.
My 1st time here I will definitely be back again and again. The drinks and the food were amazing...I have got to have the pork chops and chicken and waffles next. The service I have to give a 2....our waitress never came to check on us and we had to ask a different waitress for our check. The DJ is the reason the atmosphere was given 3π absolutely to loud...you have to yell at each other to talk but no one wants to have the table around you listening to you. The DJ definitely needs to turn it down and they definitely need more servers.
When we arrived we were told that they were unable to locate our reservation, but after being shown confirmation of having made the reservation, we were seated quickly. Aside from the lamb, which was lacking in flavor, the rest of the food was great. Our server, Sade, was amazing, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The music was great too and made for an awesome vibe.
Oh my where do I begin?
Having Ashley,Brittany & Michelle as servers/ bartender/conversationalist you can't get any better! Popping in from out of town this is a place that I would return to if I'm ever back in the area!
Food was tasty! Hookah was a lovely bonus, drinks... well... so I'm an old fashioned person. We gotta work on the ice and the recipe. That matters so much but I tell you everything else was so special it felt so comfortable and homey being there. I didnt feel rushed. The place is really cute and well laid out. It can only go up from there!
1st experience left a whole lot to be desired. Had a 7:30 reservation last night. We thought it was going to be a good time, the music was playing and there was a good bit of people there at the bar and a few tables. We were sat all the way in the back at a table by the rest rooms. We asked to be moved they told us no! We ordered some drinks and appetizers which came to us cold and lacking taste. There was no air and our server J who was great by the way said the ac man was there but it was extremely hot. So not a good experience for me at all. We may try another time but last night was an EPIC fail.
Went in to watch NFL playoffs and have some drinks with light bites. Upon entry, the bar was lightly seated with an over deafening sound of music being played by the it was hard to place orders and communicate. Kudos to Dominique, the bartender, for her efforts struggling to hear every order. The drinks were small, pricey, and separately charged for liquor made for top shelf margaritas that were unusual. Truffle fries weren't truffled but dusted with parmesan and cold. Orginal wings weren't flavorful. Lacked side garnishments. The 5 star of the night was the "Brownie"! πTo have spent over $120 at Spatch was a total disappointment! Having the company of meeting a new friend was more worthy. Spatch Kitchen and Cocktails is a scratch for me. Total disappointment, but with a change in service and lowered sounds, this spot could be a vibe. π
Brunch outing with the ladies! I had the Surf and Turf. The lobster was seasoned to perfection. The steak was medium well, tender, juicy, and great flavor! The coctails were great as well. The music selection was a great mix of throwback to current R&B/Hip-hop.
Side note- Make sure your entire party is there and ready for reservations.
Great food and service. I'm not sure how it works, but gratuity is added no matter the party. I'm not sure if you tip more if the gratuity is it. π€·πΎββοΈ Once the DJ comes, which was good, you can't really talk anymore. The onion rings and the sauce was my favorite! I will be back, there is more I want to try. π
